Description
In short: External GPS and GLONASS antenna for Garmin VHF radios, AIS devices and chartplotters. When the device’s internal reception is weak in a wheelhouse or under a metal hull, an external antenna gives a stable position.
What it is for
- An AIS transponder and a VHF DSC radio need a position – your coordinates are sent with a distress call.
- Uses both GPS and GLONASS satellites, so the position holds even when part of the sky is blocked.
- Two colours: white and black, choose to match the boat.
Does the antenna suit your radio or chartplotter? Send us the model and we will check before you buy.
