Description
In short: For larger boats with hydraulic steering: the SmartPump v2 suits systems with a larger steering cylinder. Includes Shadow Drive technology – when you take the helm, the autopilot switches to standby by itself.
The version without control unit suits boats that already have a Garmin chartplotter (the autopilot can be controlled from the chartplotter screen) or an existing GHC control unit.
What the kit contains
The Reactor 40 corepack contains the course computer (CCU) with built-in AHRS sensor and installation hardware. The GHC 50 version also includes a control unit with a 3.5" colour display.
Installation
Installing an autopilot requires knowledge of the steering system and calibration at sea. Our installers are Garmin Certified Installers – we install and calibrate the autopilot together with the rest of the electronics.
