What is Propspeed
Propspeed is a two-part coating for propellers and other underwater metals. The first layer is a gold etching primer that bonds strongly to the metal and protects against corrosion. The second is a clear coat with a very slick surface that marine growth cannot attach to.
- Protects against marine growth and corrosion: propellers, shafts, rudders, thrusters, saildrives, sterndrives and pod drives
- Lasts 12–24 months when applied and maintained correctly
- Biocide free – foul-release, not antifouling: growth simply cannot attach to the slick surface
- Insulates the metal, reducing corrosion and extending anode life
- A clean propeller means better speed and lower fuel consumption

Follow the manufacturer's instructions when applying (propspeed.com). You will also need disposable rollers for the primer and a brush for the clear coat – or use the Propspeed 4" Application Kit.
