Description

For D3-D6 engines a new sensor is developed that e.g. fits fuel filter /water separator 877763, 877768 & 877764. The sensor is connected to the EVC system and will give you the alarm in your EVC instrumentation.It also works in parallel with an existing engine-mounted ‘water in fuel’ alarm.

The kit fits D3/D4/D6 engines produced 2011 and later (which have paired engine cable harness). For 12 V or 24 V systems.

Water in Fuel Alarm

To get an early warning for water in the fuel tank the best position for a water sensor is in the Fuel Filter/Water separator between the tank and the engine. The sensor will detect water in the bowl of the water separator and give the early warning wanted.
