Description

Anodes are sacrificed in order to protect the drive unit and propeller against galvanic corrosion. Volvo Penta anodes are tested and specially produced for Volvo Penta drives and propellers.

Choosing the anode material for your water:

  • Saltwater – aluminium*
  • Brackish water – aluminium*
  • Freshwater – magnesium

*If an aluminium anode is not available for your product, choose zinc.
